Long-sleeved bodysuit with ruffles made of merino wool
- In stock
The bodysuit that stays where it should – with a playful ruffled hem. 🤍
Fine merino rib knit that fits like a second skin – soft enough for delicate baby skin, worn directly on the body. Warms when it's cool, stays comfortable when it gets warm: your child won't sweat or freeze. A ruffled hem makes it an eye-catcher.
Merino instead of laundry basket: Often, a few bodysuits per size are enough – air instead of wash, buy new less often.
Double-stitched placket and golden snaps – dimensionally stable, durable, a bodysuit that lasts.
Material: 100% merino wool (mulesing-free), GOTS certified.
Care: Often airing is enough instead of washing. If washing is needed: hand wash or wool cycle, then air dry flat.
Grow-with-me ribbed structure, fits flexibly over several months.
Available from size 56 (newborn) to 98. When in doubt, choose the larger size – Liebchen grows with them.
That's why Liebchen 🤍
We don't test softness in the lab, but on the founder's children – who tore off every other wool and only voluntarily wear Liebchen. If my three keep one thing on, I know it's good enough for yours.

That's why Merino 🤍
Don't sweat, don't freeze
Warms you when it's cool, cools you when it's warm – the same fiber, all year round.
Does not scratch
So soft that children can wear them directly on their skin – no tugging, no taking off.
Doesn't smell that fast
Merino hardly absorbs odors – airing it out is often enough instead of washing.
Won't get sticky
Absorbs moisture before it feels wet – stays comfortable during play.
Grows with you, lasts long
Elastic knit stretches across multiple sizes – a piece that stays with you instead of being outgrown.
Fewer items in the cupboard
A well-designed merino layer replaces a stack of seasonal clothing.

WHY LIEBCHEN EXISTS
"Wool is itchy" - I thought so too.
I was looking for the softest merino wool and couldn't find it in stores. So, I had it made myself: ethically in Portugal, according to my specifications. Today, my children wear nothing else. That's the only test that matters to me.
